Feeding New Jersey ‘One Lasagna at a Time’
There are so many people doing wonderful things to help their neighbors and the world with their kindness, hard work and generosity. Some of them are the fantastic folks at Lasagna Love.
Lasagna Love is a non-profit organization that’s committed to spreading kindness to families in need here in New Jersey and around the world. It’s “Pasta with a purpose” as They do it with one home-cooked lasagna at a time.
Since the pandemic, Lasagna Love’s mission has been feeding families, spreading kindness, and strengthening communities through their 56,000 volunteers. Thanks to their volunteers they have fed home-cooked meals to over 2 million people as a symbol of care and compassion, bringing a sense of warmth and comfort to those in need.
New Jersey, regional director Donna Disbrow says, “Delivering lasagnas to a family in need warms the hearts of everyone involved. Whether you are going through a financial hardship, a medical challenge, or an emotional time, Lasagna Love is here to help.”
She continued saying, “We deliver more than a warm meal. We deliver kindness. In a world filled with uncertainty, we restore hope back into our communities.”
Inflation has hindered families around the country as they struggle to manage the basic necessities on top of everyday obstacles. As a result, they have seen a large increase in requests.
That’s why Lasagna Love NJ needs your help to feed your fellow neighbors. You can choose to donate ingredients, volunteer, or share the website with someone in need.
Right now, their most critical need is for passionate individuals to cook and deliver lasagnas to fellow members of our community.
