New Jersey Brewery Recognized For Artistic Beer Labels
With so many privately owned breweries now popping up across the country, how do you differentiate yourself? Sure, it all starts with a great-tasting beer, but certain establishments are also finding another angle to build a community. USA Today’s 10BEST recently looked at the artistic crafting side of a brewery. Specifically, those that are creating awesome beer labels to slap on their can and a place in New Jersey made the list.
“A good beer label stands out from the crowd, piques our curiosity, and represents the brew behind the label,” 10BEST said, describing how the label can serve as the customers’ first impression.
Core 3 Brewery Ranked 2nd For Their “Nevermore” Brew
Located in Clayton, NJ Core 3 Brewery was specifically highlighted for its unique “Nevermore” brew branding. “Nevermore is a black saison from Core 3 Brewery with a suitably dark label featuring a raven enjoying a bloody feast atop a gravestone,” 10BEST states.
The cold aluminum can here is wrapped in a light blue label where this craft brew is displayed very artistically. “Nevermore” is placed prominently across the middle in a paintbrush look. The visual then contains a vicious-looking blackbird with purple and red undertones.
“Nevermore” is an IPA with a relatively high alcohol volume. It is a 7.8% ABV. Core 3 describes it as, “An unfamiliar twist for the rare and radiant. Verses of rustic earth, dark fruit and chocolate write a faultless poetic rhythm.”
Core 3 has also established itself as great gathering spot within the local community. In addition to these homebrews on tap, there are various events that take place each night. For example, at “Sip and Spin” nights, customers can bring their favorite vinyl records to be played while they enjoy pints of craft beer.
Other breweries on this distinguished list include places in Orlando, Denver and Iowa.
Core 3 Brewing is located at 609 North Delsea Drive in Clayton.
