Bar Celebrates Taylor Swift Fly Swallowing Incident with Special “Bad Bug” Drink
Taylor Swift was performing in Chicago last week when she swallowed a bug while on stage. Now a Chicago bar, called Replay Linkin Park, has created a cocktail in honor of Taylor. The ‘Bad Bug’ contains vodka, tamarind, chili pepper, watermelon, pineapple, ginger beer, and gummy worms. The bar is hosting a “Tay Tay Partay” where the Swiftie drink will be available, and will feature bingo and karaoke.

We’ve all heard of the old saying, “I’d love to be a fly in the mouth of Taylor Swift,” or something like that.
Performing outside has all kinds of challenges, in all kinds of weather. Sometimes the unexpected can stop you in your tracks, and it’s not only rain that Taylor has had to deal with during her current Eras Tour. She learned of another interruption the other night at the final show of her three-night stand in Chicago.
It wasn’t wind, even though Chicago is known for that. It wasn’t a wardrobe malfunction or an equipment breakdown.
A fan was recording her performing and posted the video to Twitter that shows Taylor covering her mouth and coughing, then announcing, “I just swallowed a bug. I’m so sorry. I’ll be fine, it’s just so stupid,” she laughed. “Oh delicious!” she added before posing the question to the audience, “Is there any chance that none of you saw that?”As the audience laughed, she said, “It’s fine. It’s fine, I swallowed it,” while continuing to cough. That may be a first for Taylor, there’s no record of this ever happening before. There’s a rumor that all the flies were removed from MetLife Stadium before she performed in Jersey.

@JohnHBr632 shared their anger or jealousy by responding, “That bug is so lucky gets to take a journey inside a beautiful singer like her wow.”
@marvinlousperfectlove wondered, “What if this happened while she was singing ‘Sparks FLY?’ lol”
In addition to the unexpected insect incident, the show featured Taylor treating fans to the live debut of “Hits Different,” one of the songs included on the deluxe Til Dawn Edition of Midnights. Before singing the song, Taylor told the crowd, “You guys are so amazing. On a one-on-one basis, I’ve made so many new friends tonight.”
