Flight Attendants Say to Avoid These Food and Drink Items on Planes

I have a fear of flying so I like to have an alcoholic beverage to calm me down when I am on a flight. I usually follow that up with a hot cup of tea.
Now that I came across this information, perhaps I will no longer consider tea as my chaser beverage.
What is your go-to drink or food item on a plane? Hopefully, your favorite food and drink items are not on this list of things to avoid. When it comes to food and drink offerings on a plane, flight attendants have a number of items passengers should avoid.
The biggest thing to avoid is tap water and coffee and tea made with it. Why? Many of the pipes used to store tap water aren’t regularly cleaned.
Another item to avoid is steaks or fillets due to them often being overcooked when they’re prepared. Cheese trays are another item to avoid due to the cheeses being heavily processed to the point they don’t need to be refrigerated.
Do you often eat and drink these items during a flight? I have to say I have been guilty of eating cheeses that do not have to be refrigerated when I received them in gift baskets for Christmas and I found those cheeses to be delicious!
