New Jersey daters are always looking for an edge. What can we do to stand out in the dating scene?
Little Black Book online shared that Kraft conducted an experiment ahead of National Lover’s Day today. They wanted to find out if this one word would help dating profile users get more attention, and therefore, more dates.
They found that people, who mentioned the word ”mayonnaise” on their online dating profile got 74% more matches than those who didn’t. Mayo lovers also received a 16% increase in first messages.
The company says, ”Not only did we enjoy conducting this hilarious and light-hearted social experiment, but we loved that the results proved our hypothesis. We hope our mayo fans love the campaign as much as we do!”
So, how did they go about conducting this social experiment?
They ran the study all across the country, including major cities, and the first thing they did was create identical dating profiles on some of the largest dating apps. Some of them had “mayo featured prominently,” and some did not.
They then did a random swipe through to see whether the mayo or non-mayo profile received more matches. They also measured to see which ones got more likes, and which ones got more messages.
Thousands and thousands of swipes later they got their answer. If you add Mayo to your dating profile, it can make you more dateable.
If you’re interested in giving it a try, maybe you could use this…
“Hey there! I’m a fun-loving and adventurous person who is always looking for new experiences involving mayonnaise. I have a passion for condiments and have a bit of an obsession with mayonnaise. Whether it’s slathered on a sandwich or mixed into a creamy dip, there’s just something about the tangy, delicious flavor of mayonnaise.
When I’m not indulging in my love of mayonnaise, I enjoy exploring places that have mayonnaise, curling up with a good book about mayonnaise, or listening to songs about mayonnaise.
I’m looking for someone who shares my sense of adventure and can appreciate, or perhaps share, my love of mayonnaise.
If you’re up for trying new things and don’t mind a little bit of mayonnaise on everything, let’s chat and see where things go. (as long as there’s mayonnaise there)”
It’s worth a shot!
4 New Jersey Cities Make Best Party Cities in the US List
New Jersey knows how to get down. According to Bonus Finder, four New Jersey cities have been ranked as some of the “best party cities in the United States.”
The casino review site compiled the list of United States cities based on several attributes the city had to have. Bonus Finder looked at the following criteria:
- Music Events
- Bars
- Nightclubs
- Late Night Food Venues
- Hotels
- Casinos
- Stripclubs
The site even had your pockets in mind when determining where is the best place to go for a great night out. Below are some factors that Bonus Finder considered in their ranking:
- Average Price of a Drink
- Average Price of a Hotel Room
- Average Taxi Cost from the Airport to the City Center
Lastly, (and maybe most importantly, depending on who you ask), the site also considered which clubs and events had the latest “last call at the bar.”
The site reviewed “the number of bars, hotels, nightclubs, casinos, stripclubs, and late night food venues were calculated per 10,000 people. Each city has a normalized score out of 10 on each of the factors, before taking an average total normalized score across each of these scores to reach our final overall score out of 10.”
Take a look at the three New Jersey cities that made the top 20 of their list and their final scores below:
