If you’re craving a delicious and refreshing Margarita or “searching for your lost shaker of salt?” Today is the day we celebrate a classic cocktail, Happy Margarita Day! However, if the margarita is your go-to no matter the occasion, you are not alone.

According to a new report by the folks at Ungraded Points, which surveyed over two thousand American drinkers across the country on their bar ordering habits, most respondents prefer to order a margarita at the bar.

Here's what they found in New Jersey:

For classic cocktails, we New Jersey bar-goers prefer to order a Margarita. Which is perfect on a day like today, National Margarita Day! Our favorite bar drink type overall is beer, which is the category I fall into. However, it is surprising that when ordering a beer, Jersey seems to go for a Sam Adams the most. Different states favored or preferred different types of bars, and in New Jersey it was breweries.

Now let’s talk tipping. When it comes to tipping, the largest share of respondents in New Jersey usually tip their bartenders 20%. I imagine most would agree with this, but many think that 22% to 25% is more appropriate nowadays.

The study also found that New Jersey drinkers are willing to pay $12.69 on average for their favorite premium cocktail.

Pennsylvanians chose mixed drinks as their first choice, Yuengling as their favorite beer, and margaritas as the cocktail they prefer anytime. They also tend to visit cocktail lounges when choosing a bar type.

Overall, throughout the country margaritas are the favorite cocktail, scoring 25% of the vote, Blue Moon  at 18.1% is the most preferred in the beer category, followed by Bud Light at 9.9%, Sam Adams at 9.4%, and Stella Artois at 8.8%.

I guess it’s a difficult day today, which is also Ash Wednesday, for anyone who gave up Margaritas for Lent.

A quick Google search will show you how to make a margarita, Happy Margarita Day!
