Vegas Blackjack Dealer Continues Dealing After Gambler Has Heart Attack And Faceplants
Have you ever been to the Casinos and seen someone so drunk that they fell asleep while playing at one of the tables? It happens. If I were a dealer at the table where someone passed out, I would at least try to wake them up and move them into a room to sleep it off. I guess some dealers have to deal with it so often that they do not even pay attention to someone passing out.
KLAS says a Florida family is suing the Wynn Las Vegas casino. David Jagolinzer was playing cards when he face planted on the blackjack table. The dealer continued to deal cards and play the game. Nobody checked on David as he laid face down on the table for 20 minutes. Employees counted his chips. A new dealer arrived and alerted casino employees that David was not breathing. The employees try to administer aid with a defibrillator, but allegedly were not trained on how to use the machine. David suffered brain damage and later died. His family is suing for $15,000 for negligence and wrongful death.
This story made me think of the song from Kenny Rogers:
