Depending on who you ask, when faced with the greatest female singer of all time.

You may get a variety of answers, but one thing that is for sure is that Whitney Houston, is a legend in her own right and her fans miss her to this day. However, according to EW, her legacy will continue to grow with this new generation.

We’re talking about the announcement of a new album being released titled ‘I Go to the Rock’, which was announced on Thursday’s edition of Good Morning America.

The album will include six previously unreleased songs in the genre of gospel. One of the songs ‘Testimony’ is being teased and will be available to the public prior to the full album release.

This news is coming at a very sad time for the music community. As the ‘I Wanna Dance With Somebody’ singer passed away nearly 11 years ago on February 11th. She was and still is an inspiration to the generation of women in music.

Whitney Houston is still one of the best-selling and most beloved artists of all time. I may not be the greatest fan of gospel music but Houston, had a deep love for the genre and that’s enough for me.

As a New Jersey native, I feel proud knowing the impact and passion she brought into the world. For that, she will always be a legend in our hearts. ‘I Go to the Rock‘ will be releasing the full album next month on March 24th.
