The Original Wednesday Has Died

The Character of Wednesday Addams has regained popularity thanks to to the Netflix show “Wednesday.” The Character of Wednesday is played by Jenna Ortega. The character has also been played by Christina Ricci in the Addams Family movies. Many others have played the character through the years including the original Wednesday which was played by Lisa Loring in the TV show that originated in the 1960s.
Loring, who was best known for being the original Wednesday Addams, has died at the age of 64. The actress played Wednesday Addams in the original 1960s sitcom, The Addams Family. She also appeared on the soap opera “As the World Turns,” and other roles.
Her death was confirmed by her close friend, Laurie Jacobson, via Facebook, and her daughter, Vanessa Foumberg, confirmed with Variety, saying she “went peacefully with both her daughters holding her hands.”
Lisa Loring had suffered a stroke and was in a coma for three days afterward. Loring passed on Saturday, January 28th.
