It's that time of year when people are planning and booking their spring break vacation.

Cancun and Florida were two popular choices. Cancun has been thought of as a safe place to vacation with your main safety concerns; being aware of unsafe drinking water and the potential for bad weather.

Normally, the Hotel Zone and the downtown tourist areas are very safe. You may want to reconsider your vacation plans to Cancun this year. WFLD says Spring Breakers may want to reconsider vacationing in Cancun this year because the U.S. State Department has issued a travel warning for the city.

Taxi drivers have been attacking Uber drivers because they are taking business from them. Some taxi drivers are blocking the main roads to hotels, leaving Uber passengers to walk to their accommodations. Some U.S. citizens have been injured during clashes between the drivers.

I go on vacation to relax, not to get into a conflict or even hear others getting into a conflict. Cancun is a beautiful place to visit no doubt, but it just does not seem like it will be very relaxing!

Especially if you cannot get to your hotel because the cabs blocked your way and you have to get out of your car and lug all your luggage down a street or highway.

Can you imagine wheeling all of your luggage down the street? It may make a great video for TikTok, but not for a relaxing vacation.

New Jersey is full of hidden gems that definitely could be defined as "Instagram-worthy." Some of our smaller cities are unique and lovely. The New Jersey Real Estate Network seems to agree. A recent study done by the real estate site showed that New Jersey has 10 city hotspots that social media users deem "Instagram-worthy." These photo op cities were selected based on the number of hashtags and the population ratio of the city. Both native New Jerseyans and visitors photos were taken into consideration for this study.
