Substitute Banana Peels For Botox Treatments
I know a few women who have gotten Botox and when they first get it done, some look like they were in a major fight. The needles injected into their skin causes the skin to bruise and become a deepened black and blue.
At the same time, after the black and blue fades these women are left with flawless, wrinkle-free skin. I do not think I will ever be brave enough to get needles stuck in my face.
Lucky for us who can not stand the thought of a needle, there seems to be an easier, painless way to get beautiful, wrinkle-free skin.
The New York Post says TikTok user Alayna Ryan recently went viral after using a banana peel as a form of “natural Botox.” She rubbed the peel over her bare face while promising that it boasts the same benefits as the infamous cosmetic treatment.
Another TikTok user repeated the experiment and insisted that the “uglier and more beat-up” the peel is, the better a person’s skin will look. TikTok users have been using the hashtag #BananaBotox to share their own experiences with the trend.
Social media reacts …
- “I’ve been doing this for 75 years!”
- “When I was in Singapore, I got a palm reading from a guy on the street. He told me to do this!!! His skin was flawless and I swear he was over 70!”
- “My grandma used to this all the time, God rest her soul. She taught me this as a kid — it does work, her skin was beautiful in her old age!”
- “I’m sure it works, but I have to pay nearly $2 a banana where I live, so not happening LOL”
- “There goes the price of bananas”
Honestly, I will be trying the banana peel hack, what do we have to lose? –Maryann Morgan
