During a recent show, Adele admitted that she is back in therapy after taking a few years off. The NY Post says Adele went to therapy five times a day following her divorce in 2019. They quote her as saying, “I started having therapy again because I went a few years without. I needed to start. Before, obviously, when I was going through my divorce, I was basically doing five therapy sessions a day. But now I am doing it because I just want to make sure I’m topping myself up every week to make sure I can give you everything.”

The singer spoke to an audience at her "Weekends with Adele" residency in Las Vegas, explaining that her sessions now are to ensure that she is giving fans “everything”. Adele revealed that she is actively working on the stress that she feels on stage, explaining, "I love making music, but there is something about performing live that actually terrifies me and fills me with dread normally," She went on to explain that this fear is one of the reasons why she has chosen not to be a big touring artist.
