If there is one title known across the entire world it’s Pokémon this iconic card game has been going for a massive 26 years and has been a major part of my generation's childhood. With some of the original cards and packs selling for hundreds of thousands of dollars and the new game title being released this month, you would think that Nintendo would relax a bit, but nope!

The internet is buzzing about a new partnership with Puma, that has given us five awesome-looking sneakers featuring the original starters those being Bulbasaur, Squirtle, Charmander, and the always recognizable Pikachu which is getting two different shoe designs. Besides each shoe being color coordinated to the Pokémon's respective type it also comes with a little chain attached to the respective Pokémon.

You also have the character's face on the tongue of the shoe and the element design on the back of the pull tab. The shoes being used to hold these colorful designs are RS-X, Suede, Slipstream, and Future Rider. and for the alternate Pikachu shoe, it’s the RS-X. Fans were quick to react on Twitter over the announcement and honestly, I might get a pair, if possible, not only is it a series I love and grew up with, but as a standalone, the shoes look awesome. Though with millions of fans around the world I’m sure it will go like everything else Pokémon related and be sold out on day one. So, while most people may be going to one of the two Pikachu shoes, I’ll be trying to scoop up the Charmander ones.

The release date is being reported for this month November 12th with the price varying depending on your choice and size, though for adults who want to catch them all you’ll be paying anywhere from $80 to $120. With everyone else varying between $55 to $120 according to select retailers. Though as we see with everything Pokémon related expect to see the resale price go way up. Mark your calendars because this is sure to be a day you won’t want to miss.
