‘Jeopardy!’ Champion From New Jersey Earns Spot In Tournament
Ask and you shall receive as the current Cris Pannullo won the long-time running game show yet again to continue his winning streak to seven, but that’s not all as he also has earned a spot in the upcoming season Jeopardy! Tournament of Champions.
Cris is on a hot streak after winning over $162,080 bringing his grand total to a whopping $221,901 and has earned the Ocean City resident a spot to compete in the upcoming Jeopardy! 2023 Tournament of Champions this month. When asked how he planned on spending his earnings by Host Ken Jennings, Pannullo gave what I feel is a very New Jersey answer of stuffing it under his mattress.
Overall, I am excited to see if Cris will continue to make New Jersey proud and with any hope maybe walk away as the overall winner for the upcoming tournament. Even if he makes it through the first round, he and the other contestants will have to beat one of the three seeded champions if they want any hope of making it past the semifinals.
As of right now according to the official Jeopardy! website the 2022 Jeopardy! The tournament of champions will still begin on October 31st at 7 p.m. ET. It is unclear what game Pannullo or the other contestants will be playing in, but staying up to date on all things New Jersey you can sign up for our newsletter.
