Elon Musk has gone from Tesla and SpaceX founder to “Perfume Salesman,” according to his Twitter bio. Musk, 51, has really launched a fragrance that is “The Essence of Repugnant Desire” at $100 a bottle after teasing on Twitter over the weekend that it was coming soon.

In a follow-up tweet about the status of his fragrance lines’ sales, Musk says over 10,000 bottles have been sold via Musk’s The Boring Company website. Some “reviews” on the site read: “Just like leaning over a candle at the dinner table, but without all the hard work” and “Stand out in a crowd! Get noticed as you walk through the airport.” Clearly a joke, yet available to purchase to be shipped out in Q1 2023, fans of Elon’s *cough* musk can snag a vial of the potent stuff, which he laughed about on Twitter. “Can’t wait for media stories tomorrow about $1M of Burnt Hair sold.”

Musk pointed out that with a name like his, “getting into the fragrance business was inevitable – why did I even fight it for so long!?”

In another tweet, Musk calls the fragrance line an “omnigender product.”

Back in 2018, The Boring Company released the “Not-a-Flamethrower” which appeared to be barely legal judging by the terms and conditions that came along with the purchase of one. One fan on Twitter wrote, “Let me guess how you made it…you burnt your hair with ‘not a flamethrower’ and now you have this product!”

Earlier this week, Musk welcomed Kanye West back to Twitter, before his account was disabled for making anti-semitic remarks. Musk later wrote, “Talked to ye today & expressed my concerns about his recent tweet, which I think he took to heart.”

Celebrities React To Kanye West's Anti-Semitic Tweets

Members of the entertainment and media industry have called out Kanye West’s series of anti-semitic statements over the weekend. As we earlier reported, the rapper has been locked out of both Instagram and Twitter. His tweet in full read: “I’m a bit sleepy tonight but when I wake up I’m going death con 3 [sic] On JEWISH PEOPLE. The funny thing is I actually can’t be Anti Semitic because black people are actually Jew also You guys have toyed with me and tried to black ball anyone whoever opposes your agenda.”

The social media platform removed the tweet shortly after West, 45, published it. It noted that the tweet violated its rules and guidelines. Currently, in the tweet’s place, a Twitter message reads: “This Tweet violated the Twitter Rules.” The Anti-Defamation League (ADL) said that Ye’s tweet was anti-semitic. The wrote, “The behavior exhibited this week by @kanyewest is deeply troubling, dangerous, and antisemitic, period,” the statement read. “There is no excuse for his propagating of white supremacist slogans and classic #antisemitism about Jewish power, especially with the platform he has.”

In another tweet, they added, “Power. Disloyalty. Greed. Deicide. Blood. Denial. Anti-Zionism. All of these are antisemitic tropes that we break down in our #AntisemitismUncovered Guide at https://antisemitism.adl.org. Many of these myths have influenced @KanyeWest’s comments recently, and it’s dangerous.”

The Donda rapper’s Instagram account was restricted after he posted a series of text exchanges allegedly between him and Diddy. Users called out the rapper for using  anti-Semitic language (he insinusated that Diddy was controlled by Jewish people). The post has since been deleted. Before making the anti-Semitic remark, West tweeted on Friday calling out Meta’s Mark Zuckerberg, “How you gone kick me off Instagram,” in response to his account being restricted.

This isn’t the first time Ye has been kicked off of social media platforms. Back in March, the Yeezy founder had his Instagram account suspended for 24 hours due to posting various posts targeting his ex-wife Kim Kardashian and The Daily Show‘s Trevor Noah.

Now, celebrities have taken to Twitter to share their feelings on Kanye’s words:

  • Jamie Lee Curtis

  • Sarah Silverman

  • Michael Rapaport

    He added, “#BiPolarPrivlege”

  • John Legend

  • Maria Shriver

  • Jack Antonoff

  • Piers Morgan
