Blumhouse Productions is the studio behind massively successful and terrifying films such as Halloween Kills (2021) and the Insidious franchise, however now president Jason Blum has announced the filming of a horror game movie that sparked a generation.

Five Nights at Freddy's or FNAF for short is a horror game franchise that started in 2014 and was made by Scott Cawthon, on paper the game’s concept is pretty basic. You play a night guard and must survive the night shift at a pizza restaurant for five nights while being hunted by haunted animatronics. So basically, if Chuck E Cheese was trying to get you. However, the game showed a hidden plot in the background elements of the game. This built a massive community trying to solve the real plot which included YouTuber Matt Patt who runs the Game Theory channel.

Since 2014 there have been about nine more games not including the number of spin-offs or fan-made titles, as well as multiple book series on the franchise. Now a movie will finally be thrown into the mix, but fans have been hearing the same thing for years ever since plans for the film were announced back in 2017. However, plans changed as Scott stepped away and Steel Wool Studios took over to make the most recent titles in the series. So, for years it looked as if the story would never make the big screen.

However, that all seems to be changing now as Jason Blum tweeted about not only a director for the film who is Emma Tammi, but also how animatronics are being made indicating that they may not be utilizing total CGI. Though that is just a theory, what isn’t is when filming starts which per Jason’s tweet will kick up in February 2023.

This is a huge step for the franchise as the latest DLC for FNAF Security Breach titled Ruin will also be released in 2023 for free. I’m sure the community will start to get hyped as more information is released, so be sure to keep updated on all your favorite forms of entertainment so you never miss all the action.

Marvel dropped a new trailer for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever which is giving fans another look at what is to come ahead of the film's November release.

The trailer begins with a funeral procession of King T'Challa, with a billboard paying homage to the King (and, by extension, to Chadwick Boseman). Scenes switch back and forth between T'Challa's funeral and a new world: the underwater kingdom of Talocan. As the scenes swiftly move between the two worlds, the ruler of Talon, Tenoch Huerta's Namor, is heard saying, "Only the most broken people can be great leaders."

The Talocan kingdom is making its Marvel Cinematic Universe debut in the film which director Ryan Cooler recalls being a lifelong fan of. "I would read them all the time before I became a full-time jock when I was younger and was just playing sports all the time," the director explains per Entertainment Weekly. "Even when I was doing that, I was still engaging in pop culture, watching Batman: The Animated Series or Power Rangers or the Batman movies. But I wasn't knee-deep in it, reading every book. Then, when I got to college, I found myself with a little more time to reengage with it again."

In the trailer, we then hear M'Baku (played by Winston Duke) tell the people of Wakanda that Namor's people "do not call him do not call him 'General' or 'King.' They call him k'uk'ulkan. The Feather Serpent God." He then explains and warns them that, "killing him will risk eternal war."

Namor is seen flying with his signature ankle wings, just like in the comics. Coogler says that it was his intention to keep his distinctive attribute. "I think with making these types of movies, you've got to lean into the weird stuff, or you risk missing what makes it fun," Coogler said. "He's got really unique features and things that don't necessarily go together. He can breathe underwater, obviously, but he's got these little wings on his ankles. He's got pointy ears and walks around in his underwear. It's all fun, man."

Later we hear Letitia Wright's Shuri saying, "He's coming for the surface world." Queen Ramonda (played by Angela Bassett) then is heard saying, "We know what you whisper. They have lost their protector. Now is our time to strike."

The trailer ends with quick view of the Black Panther: many fans suspect that Shuri has taken on the mantle of her late brother.

Coogler shared how he hopes the film resonates with fans. "What we were after was just making it feel tactile, even though it felt like a dream," the director explains. "The film should feel like a really wild dream that you would have, but where everything felt like it was really there."

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever hits theaters Nov. 11. Watch the trailer below and take a look at fans' reactions and the exclusive covers Entertainment Weekly created of the cast:
