I don't know about you, but I love sugary cereal for breakfast.  I was a fan of Lucky Charms because I enjoyed the crunch of the firm sugary marshmallows.  I am putting my love for Lucky Charms in the past tense because after reading the amount of people who were reporting  getting ill after eating just one small bowl of the cereal, I decided that I would steer clear of purchasing a box for a while (unless it comes with an amazing toy inside).

The Food and Drug Administration has quietly closed its investigation into Lucky Charms. The breakfast cereal allegedly caused at least 8,633 people to experience bizarre symptoms, including stomach pains, vomiting, and neon green stool. Many victims are shocked that the investigation is ending while new reports of illnesses continue.  According to the New York Post, it was just on August 21 that a Teaneck, New Jersey resident said,  “My poop became increasingly green and watery until it reached a bright neon green,” reported on the site on Aug. 21, claiming the bizarre symptoms persisted for three days after eating a single bowl of Lucky Charms.
The FDA insists that they found "no pathogen or cause of the self-reported illnesses identified, despite extensive testing for numerous potential microbial and chemical adulterants."
