Who Are the Most Popular Actors and Actresses in New Jersey?
It’s tough to pick a favorite romantic comedy with so many swoon-worthy features to choose from. And it’s nearly impossible to pick a favorite actor out of all the celebs who appear again and again as hopeless romantics or dashing dreamboats. That’s why the team at Shane Co. turned to Google Trends search volume to determine which actors in the romantic comedy genre are stealing the most hearts across America.

Overall, Tom Hanks (Sleepless in Seattle, You’ve Got Mail, Big, Splash, Forrest Gump) has the title as the number one rom-com actor. When it comes to the ladies, Jennifer Aniston (Just Go With It, Along Came Polly, The Switch, The Break Up) is the number one actress when it comes to rom-coms.

But what were the findings in New Jersey?

The late Heath Ledger (Ten Things I Hate About You, Brokeback Mountain, A Knight’s Tale, Monster’s Ball) is the most popular actor in New Jersey and, Jennifer Lopez (Marry Me, The Wedding Planner, Maid in Manhattan, What To Expect When You’re Expecting) is the most popular rom-com actress in New Jersey.

In the Northeast, the regional favorite is Billy Crystal (When Harry Met Sally, Forget Paris, Here Today, French Kiss)

There were several hometown heartthrobs (actors that won the hearts of their home states). This includes Matthew McConaughey in Texas, Josh Lucas in Arkansas, Patrick Dempsey in Maine, Emma Stone in Arizona, and Jennifer Garner in West Virginia.

'House of the Dragons' Series Premiere: Fans React
With the premiere of the Game of Thrones prequel House of the Dragons Sunday (August 21) night, fans of George R.R. Martin’s series took to social media to share their thoughts.
Based on 2018’s Fire & Blood novel, House of the Dragon is set 200 years before the events of Game of Thrones. It’s the story of the Targaryen dynasty and the civil war that scorched the House’s history.
The cast includes Paddy Considine (King Viserys Targaryen), Matt Smith (Prince Daemon Targaryen), Olivia Cooke (Alicent Hightower), Emma D’Arcy (Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen), Steve Toussaint (Lord Corlys Velaryon, “The Sea Snake”), Eve Best (Princess Rhaenys Targaryen), Sonoya Mizuno (Mysaria), Fabien Frankel (Ser Criston Cole) and Rhys Ifans (Otto Hightower).
