Kim Kardashian is getting into the sound business, with a new headphone collaboration with Apple and Beats.
Per the Independent, this is the first time that the Beats Fits Pro earphones have been released in a custom version with Kim’s neutral tone aesthetic.
“Since you’re wearing something every day, I wanted them to be able to blend in and I’ve never seen any tech products, especially headphones, be in neutral colors,” Kim said in a promotional video. “I think I would just want people to understand that this is also a fashion accessory that’s usable and user-friendly. It doesn’t have to be anything loud — it can just blend in with what you’re wearing. It’s kind of a statement.”
The “Beats x Kim” earphones still include all of the usual features such as noise cancellation, a transparency mode to hear things that are going on and Apple’s spatial audio feature that is meant to give sound in three dimensions.
The “Beats x Kim” earphones will be available starting next week on the Apple website, retailing for $199.99.
