Hi, it’s Debra from Golden Bee Tarot and Reiki. Welcome to the July 26th edition of Tarot Tuesday! This month we are working with the Journey of the Sacred Bee Tarot by Kelly Burton.

It’s time now to close your eyes and turn your attention inward. Take a deep breath in through your nose, hold for a brief pause then slowly release your breath. Continue to breathe evenly with eyes closed until you feel calm and centered.

Then open your eyes and connect with the cards. Choose the one you feel most drawn to, or perhaps two cards for deeper understanding. Now that you’ve chosen your card, let’s take a look at the reveal.

  1. Princess of Swords: This week's new moon in the sign of Leo, clears out the mental clutter and provides you with a newfound clarity. The pages of the tarot often represent a message of some kind. With the Princess of Swords, this message may bring new ideas or hidden information to light. This page can also reference sudden changes. Remain vigilant and be prepared to act on a moment's notice. You can successfully move through whatever comes your way this week if you take a logical approach, communicate clearly and use your intellect to help you see past any blockages.

  2. The Empress: The Empress arrives on the scene this week, inviting you to lose yourself in pleasure and beauty. This card represents abundance and growth. Its energy encourages you to embrace your sensual side and give in to the joy and luxury that is all around you. As a card that represents feminine energy and maternal instincts, this is a time to pamper yourself, step up your self-care practices and indulge in whatever makes you feel good. The Empress also refers to creativity and fertility. This can be an ideal period for expansion, manifestation and increased prosperity.

  Five of Cups/Disappointment: You may find yourself dealing with an unanticipated loss, one that leaves you in a state of deep mourning and sorrow. This painful period of grief may have you questioning everything you believed in, lost in the "what ifs" and "should haves". Your tendency may be to blame yourself for what has come to pass. If this is the case, guilt and remorse may be driving your inability to see a way out of your suffering. It's important for you to begin to process your grief and work towards coming to terms with your situation. With time, you will find a way to heal.
