Some Solar Umbrellas May Cause a Fire and Hazardous Burns

Costco has recalled about 400,000 of SunVilla Corporation’s Solar LED Market Umbrellas because the lithium-ion batteries in the umbrella’s solar panels could possibly overheat and cause a fire or hazardous burns. Customers who purchased these umbrellas to stop using them immediately and remove the solar panel puck that contains the lithium-ion battery. Any customer who bought a 10-inch Solar LED Market Umbrella can return the product and the puck to any Costco Warehouse and receive a full refund.
