The driver of the delivery van had decided to pull over at a service area to take a nap before continuing on his route and this is where Keon & Ellis decided to strike. While the man was sleeping, the two young men cut a hole in the side of the truck to gain access to the product inside. Once inside, they quietly transferred all the products from the vehicle to their own van.

When police were notified, they then pursued the thieves who refused to stop the car. When the chase ended, the bandits tried to flee on foot but were no match for the trained K9 unit who tracked them down. They were apprehended by police and are now due for sentencing on July 18th. They are currently out on bail.
