Community Food Bank Of New Jersey Receives $1.1 Million Grant
It has been officially announced that the Community FoodBank of New Jersey received a $1.1 million grant from the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
The CFBNJ’s mission is to fight hunger and poverty in the state of New Jersey while seeking long-term solutions. For every dollar of this amazing donation, it will cover the cost of 3 meals.
“We’re proud to have received $1.1 million grand from @USDA to help implement @NJDA’s TEFAP Reach and Resiliency project, expanding access to The Emergency Food Assistance Program in underserved and BIPOC communities,” Community FoodBank of New Jersey shared on Twitter.
The two CFBNJ warehouse facilities in Hillside and Egg Harbor Township currently serve over 800 programs and community partners in 15 New Jersey counties.

For kids across New Jersey — like seven-year-old Neymar — having three full meals a day isn’t always the norm. Neymar’s family enrolled in CFBNJ’s Family Pack program at his school, so now on weekends, he takes home a pack full of groceries.
