ABC Announces Season 8 of ‘Celebrity Family Feud’

Fans of the long-running quiz show Family Feud are pressing their buzzers with joy as a new season of the specialty show Celebrity: Family Feud was announced by the show’s official Instagram. The return of this spin-off is significant news for fans of the show and entertainment in general. 

The show which started in 2015 will be returning for its 8th season and operates like normal Family Feud, however, the competitors the name suggests will be some of your favorite A-list celebrities and their families competing on behalf of a charity of their choice. The best part is fans won’t have to wait long for the Season 8 premiere either according to the post the season will begin July 10th with long-time Host Steve Harvey. 

Steve took over hosting duties for Family Feud from John O’Hurley, in 2010 and had been going on strong since his first season of Celebrity: Family Feud was in 2015, however, the first host for the edition was in 2008 Al Roker. Fans certainly love Steve for his witty humor and hilarious reactions so much so that he even was given the chance to become a Celebrity judge earlier this year with his own show Judge Steve Harvey, which ended its first season on a high note this past April. 

It still remains a mystery what celebrities’ fans can expect to see on the show. However, with the premiere only being a month and a few weeks away, viewers won’t be waiting long, but what celebrities would you want to see compete?
