The Ellen DeGeneres Show Has Been Snubbed By the Daytime Emmys
The Ellen DeGeneres Show has been snubbed by the Daytime Emmys. For the first time in 18 years, the talk show hasn’t been nominated in the Best Daytime Talk Show category. Ellen didn’t get nominated for Best Host either. It wasn’t all bad for the final season, Ellen did get nominations for writing and set design.
Actor Frank Langella has been fired by Netflix amid allegations of “unacceptable behavior” on the set of the film, The Fall of the House of Usher. According to Langella, while filming a love scene with a younger woman she suddenly screamed, “he touched my leg!” then turned and walked off the set. An investigation was done and then he was done. “I have been canceled just like that,” admitted Langella.
Blake Shelton and Carson Daly are creating a new game show for the USA Network called ”Barmageddon.” Nikki Bella will host the show from Blake’s Nashville bar. Celebrities will play games against one another at the bar.
Johnny Depp’s Body double is losing career opportunities. Simon Newton used to work as Johnny’s body double in movies like “Pirates of the Caribbean” and “Fantastic Beasts.” He says companies no longer want to hire him as an impersonator, due to Johnny’s court case against Amber Heard.
