Kim Kardashian Turned Heads Wearing Marilyn Monroe’s Dress
Kim Kardashian turned heads on the red carpet at the Met Gala Monday night wearing a Marilyn Monroe’s actual “Happy Birthday Mr. President” dress. The dress was loaned to her from the Ripley’s Believe It Or Not Museum in Orlando, Florida. Kim revealed that she had to lose 16 pounds in three weeks to be able to fit into the iconic dress. “The dress was transported by guards and I had to wear gloves to try it on, I always thought she was extremely curvy. I imagined I might be smaller in some places where she was bigger and bigger in places where she was smaller. So when it didn’t fit me I wanted to cry because it can’t be altered at all.” After walking the red carpet, Kim changed into a replica dress which fit her much better.
Drew Barrymore offended people when she referred to Johnny and Amber’s trial as ‘not one layer of crazy, it’s a seven-layer dip of insanity’. Drew apologizes for the comment and says this will help her grow and change.
In the wake of Naomi Judd’s unexpected death over the weekend, CMT has announced a celebration of her life with special programming called “CMT Remembers: Naomi Judd”. The show will feature archival footage and interviews as well as special performances including Billy Ray Cyrus, Carrie Underwood, Martina McBride, and of course her daughter Wynonna Judd. The show will debut Tuesday, May 3 at 9 p.m. with encore presentations all week long.
Jennifer Grey’s new book is going to be released today. It’s titled ”Out of the Corner, the Dirty Dancing”. In it, she says Johnny Depp was jealous and paranoid when they dated. Johnny was commuting every week back and forth from Vancouver, but had begun more and more regularly to be getting into trouble: fights in bars, skirmishes with cops. He’d started missing his flights home to LA having overslept or, when he did come home, he’d be crazy jealous and paranoid about what I’d been up to while he was gone.
