TikTok user Amber Smith recently went viral after sharing her story about going to Target on a first date. She said, “I matched with the guy I met on Hinge early last week, and he pitched the idea [that we go to Target] by saying, ‘It might be weird, but if it doesn’t work out between us, we’ll at least be able to get some [grocery shopping] done … we had a really good time … we just had fun wandering around the aisles and pointing out things that we like … exploring together just opened us up to fun conversations and helped us get to know one another. If he’d asked me to go to Walmart, I would have probably objected.”
