NEW YORK, NY - JUNE 15: Jon Bon Jovi performs onstage at the Songwriters Hall Of Fame 48th Annual Induction and Awards at New York Marriott Marquis Hotel on June 15, 2017 in New York City.

Bon Jovi has teamed up with New Jersey’s own Gov. Phil Murphy in an effort to feed and shelter Ukrainians who have been displaced due to the ongoing invasion of Ukraine by Russia.

Through this partnership, the pair hope to raise nearly two million dollars to support those in need through food and shelter. With hall of famer and his wife already making a sizeable donation of $500,000.

Bon Jovi, even went as far as to post on his YouTube channel about him standing up with Ukraine with a live performance of his hit `We Don’t Run` for Global Citizen. Sending out a heartfelt message that he and his family will continue to show support for however long it takes. All while the Rock & Roll Hall of Famer is on tour.

This of course isn’t the first time the legendary rock star has spoken up about global issues, with organizations like the Jon Bon Jovi Soul Foundation set on helping those struggling with homelessness. As well as many other groups that have sprung up to help those in need.

We are proud to call Bon Jovi a Sayreville native and look forward to seeing the efforts put in to help not only reach but surpass their two million dollar goal.
