Hey, Animal Lovers! Dr. Jeff: Rocky Mountain Vet Talks with Joel and Maryann
Animal lovers will recognize veterinarian Dr. Jeff Young as the passionate star of the hit Animal Planet TV series Dr. Jeff: Rocky Mountain Vet. Dr. Jeff became known for helping animals of all kinds and tackling unusual cases at a fraction of the usual cost to ensure care is given to the animals who need it most. The TV series quickly became a fan favorite for its emotional, heartwarming and often humorous stories about the power of the human and animal bond.

Now, Dr. Jeff: Rocky Mountain Vet returns to Animal Planet after nearly two years and this season, he and his team take on a variety of baffling ailments and bizarre mishaps that span nearly the entire animal kingdom. Dr. Jeff & team treat a puppy who needs reconstructive surgery to survive; fight to save a Yorkie’s leg from amputation; assist a raccoon injured in an illegal trap and a wild goose pierced by a fish hook; and visit a wolf sanctuary to spay and neuter a pack of wolf hybrids.

Easy Dog Breeds For First-Time Owners
#30. Rottweiler

These dogs are great for first-time owners because they are loyal and devoted to family members, have relatively few health issues as they age, and don’t have many needs when it comes to exercise. They may take a while to warm up to strangers, but are dog-friendly, so don’t worry about socializing them when you take a trip to the dog park.
