Bruce Willis is Forced to Retire From Acting
Bruce Willis is retiring from acting because he is suffering from a rare brain disorder that affects his ability to communicate. Aphasia is “a language disorder caused by brain damage that affects a person’s ability to communicate.” The cast and crew of his latest movies knew Bruce was having problems. Willis was using earpieces for them to feed him the lines, and it was increasingly difficult to have him on screen. It became very apparent that he was having problems. So they’d use body doubles, not just for action scenes, but for maximizing his screen time. Bruce has released 15 movies in the past two years and has eight more coming out.
Chris Rock performed a sold-out comedy show in Boston last night. Tickets were selling for as much as $450. Chris came out on stage and was given two back-to-back standing ovations that each lasted several minutes.
The Academy says they asked Will Smith to leave the Oscars after he slapped Chris Rock. Will refused. The Academy says, “The Board of Governors initiated disciplinary proceedings against Mr. Smith for violations of the Academy’s Standards of Conduct, including inappropriate physical contact, abusive or threatening behavior, and compromising the integrity of the Academy.”
David and Victoria Beckham are rattled after a burglary happened while they were home with their daughter. Their son noticed a broken window upstairs when he returned home and that’s how they were alerted of the professional thieves. The thieves darted back out the sane window with a small number of items.
