SOMERVILLE, NJ – Somerset County has cancelled all transportation and Senior Center services for September 2, 2021 in response to the significant flooding throughout the County from the remnants of Hurricane Ida. Residents are asked to shelter in place and not travel on the roads to allow emergency responders to assess and address damage due to the flooding.

Meal delivery clients are encouraged to use the frozen meals and heater meals delivered earlier in the season. The Office on Aging at 27 Warren Street will also be closed for walk-ins.

Somerset County’s Office on Emergency Management, Transportation Services, and Office on Aging will continue to monitor the situation and provide updates accordingly.
