Christina Applegate took to social media Monday night (August 9) to reveal she has been diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis.

She wrote to Twitter:

“Hi friends. A few months ago I was diagnosed with MS. It’s been a strange journey. But I have been so supported by people that I know who also have this condition. It’s been a tough road. But as we all know, the road keeps going. Unless some a**hole blocks it.”

Applegate then went on to conclude by asking for privacy at this time. In 2008, she revealed she had breast cancer and had a double mastectomy.

The 49-year-old’s acting credits include The Sweetest Thing, Married… with Children, Bad Moms, Dead To Me, among many other titles.
