Tarot Tuesday: July 13, 2021

Welcome to the July 13th edition of Tarot Tuesday! This month we are working with the Everyday Witch Tarot by Deborah Blake.
Close your eyes and turn your attention inward. Take a deep breath in through your nose, hold it for a count of four then slowly release the breath. When you feel calm and centered, open your eyes and connect with the cards.
Choose the one you feel most drawn to, or perhaps two cards for deeper wisdom. Now that you’ve chosen your card, let’s take a look at the reveal.
1. Four of Wands: Gather together with your friends and loved ones because you’ve got something to celebrate this week! Perhaps you’ve received a raise or a promotion. Maybe there’s an engagement or a wedding coming up. Or maybe you’re just thankful that it’s Tarot Tuesday. Whatever the occasion, it’s time to throw a party and commemorate this special moment. Show gratitude for all the great things you have in your life and share your joy with the people who are dear to you. The Four of Wands signifies that it’s time to cut loose and enjoy your hard earned rewards.
2. Seven of Cups: This week it feels like the world is your oyster! You find yourself with many options, each one looking better than the next. It can be difficult to make choices when everything looks so tempting. Before you rush in to grab the shiniest object of the bunch, take a step back and assess your situation. This isn’t a time to leap before looking. It’s important that you exercise caution and use discernment when pondering your selections. What seems like a sure thing may ultimately turn out to be a foolish decision. So examine each possibility and choose carefully.
3. Eight of Swords (Rx): After a period of feeling hamstrung and unable to see your way forward, this week finally brings clarity and a sense of freedom. Sometimes what you perceive to be an obstacle is only in your mind. With a change in perspective, you’re able to see possibilities that weren’t available to you before. It’s now time to make your move and leave a situation that has been holding you back. The Eight of Swords represents a portal to a lesson in transcending limitations that are created through fear. Seize this opportunity, take your power back and forge a new path!
