Complex has reported that both MTV and Barclays Center are "working closely with star and local officials in implementing the best practices with regards to health and safety."
Barclays current health and safety protocols call for unvaccinated and vaccinated audiences to sit in separate locations within the venue. Other protocols are set to be announced closer to the event.
According to Complex, MTV is also set to bring fans "epic performances from the biggest names in music" as well as a collaboration with the nonprofit 9/11 day.
