Tarot Tuesday: May 18, 2021
Hello, this is Debra from Golden Bee Tarot and Reiki. Welcome to the May 18th edition of Tarot Tuesday!
This week our guidance is coming from the Tarot of the 78 Doors. Close your eyes and center yourself. Take a deep breath in through your nose, pause for a count of four then slowly release the breath. When you are ready, open your eyes and connect with the cards.
Choose the one you feel most drawn to, or perhaps two cards for deeper insight. Now that you’ve chosen your card, let’s take a look at the reveal.
1. Four of Swords: Some rest and time for contemplation is needed this week. You’ve been burning the candle at both ends and you need to take a break to regain your energy and your focus. If you’ve been experiencing some challenges, the Four of Swords advises you to pull back and seek out solitude so you can process the situation, and gain some much needed perspective. This isn’t a time for trying to push ahead or continuing to fight a battle that you’re clearly not going to win. There’s no shame in choosing to retreat so you can recover and get your bearings.
2. Judgement: This week brings an epiphany that motivates you to examine everything you thought you knew about yourself and your life. You’re finally in a position to see certain situations with clarity, prompting you to review your choices, beliefs and direction. Taking an objective viewpoint leads to self acceptance and the realization that some adjustments need to be made so that you can live your life from a place of truth and authenticity. This is a period where you can make some lasting, positive shifts if you’re willing to be completely honest with yourself.
3. Seven of Cups: So many choices, so little time! This week, the options seem endless and you just can’t seem to decide which way to go. While all the possibilities may look appealing at first glance, this is actually a time to practice some restraint and discernment. Don’t rush into anything, especially because your imagination may be running wild, leading to a lack of perspective. While you can see the potential in each path, taking an unbiased view will help you to separate fantasy from reality. A neutral stance will ultimately lead you to make better informed decisions.
