Do you have superpowers? Prove it, and you can win $250,000
There’s a contest offering a quarter of a million bucks if you can prove you actually have superpowers. If you can bend metal with your mind, shoot lasers from your eyes, or are faster than a speeding bullet — and, you can prove it, “under scientific testing conditions,” — get in touch with the Los Angeles-based Center for Inquiry. For the past few years, the organization — which is “dedicated to promoting critical inquiry and human enrichment” — has been looking for people with “significant evidence of any paranormal, supernatural, or occult power.”
So, if you’ve been bitten by a radioactive spider, have been exposed to gamma rays, or are secretly an ancient Amazonian goddess, hit them up you could earn $250,000. But be warned: While there have been many claimants, nobody has been able to take the prize.
