Man Successfully Sues Company After Straining Back

An Australian man sued his employer after he strained his back while picking up a set of keys to the company car. Robert Thelan’s minor injury took place after he dropped the keys on the way to a work assignment. The lawsuit was dismissed several times over the past two years before Robert finally earned a victory this month. A judge ruled that Robert is entitled to compensation because the incident took place on company time.
