Rock Formation That Looks Like Cookie Monster Could Fetch $10,000
A volcanic rock formation that looks like the beloved Cookie Monster muppet was found in Brazil in the region of Rio Grande do Sul by Luis Fassari and now is owned by American geologist Mike Bowers. The rock looked like a grey egg prior to being split. Once it was cut in half a blue quartz and a happy looking Cookie Monster was revealed. Bowers posted the unique find on Facebook along with a video of Cookie Monster singing about the letter C. Stone and mineral enthusiasts have been contacting Bowers about the rate find offering as much as $10,000 for the formation.
