Vets Say Pets Shouldn’t Wear Coronavirus Masks
Veterinarians are telling pet owners not to place coronavirus masks on their dogs and cats. Sales of pet face masks have spiked by 500% during the pandemic. Most of the masks cost around $25. The American Veterinary Medical Association says that pets that catch covid-19 only experience mild symptoms. They also say wearing a mask can be stressful for a pet.
