Woman Suing Boyfriend For Refusing To Marry

Gertrude Ngoma, of Zambia, is suing her boyfriend, Herbert, for not marrying her after eight years of dating. She hired a lawyer after she caught him texting another woman. Gertrude told the court, ”He has never been serious, that is why I bought him to court because I deserve to know the way forward and our future.” Herbert told the judge that he does not have enough money for a wedding. The judge suggested the two attempt to reconcile outside of the courtroom.
