Woman Suing TGI Fridays Because Their Cheese Sticks Don’t Contain Mozzarella Cheese
Top Class Actions says Megan Nason, of New York, is suing TGI Fridays because she claims their mozzarella sticks don’t contain mozzarella cheese. She says the company is using cheddar cheese instead. Nason and other consumers are overpaying for their mozzarella sticks.
Her lawsuit states …. “The manufacturer knows consumers are willing to pay a higher price for what they perceive as real mozzarella cheese. In order to deceive, mislead and defraud customers, Inventure Foods Inc. allegedly chose to market its product in a deceptive way.”
