Santa Will Be Kept Safe This Season By Spraying His Suit With Disinfectant
Some malls plan to keep Santa safe this holiday season by spraying his suits with disinfectant. Santa and his little helpers will be wearing masks and socially distancing during their visit to the mall. Santa and his helpers will also undergo hourly and daily temperature checks. Some malls are charging as much as $50 for pictures with Santa. Sitting on Santa’s lap is not allowed.This weekend will be one of the busiest of the year for mall Santas. Many malls will be opening their Santa grotto this weekend.
At the Menlo Park Mall, Santa arrives November 20 and guests need to have a prior reservation before clicking a photo with Santa this year. Guests can making reservations to see Santa beginning on Nov. 27 until Christmas Eve, Dec. 24. Guests are expected to maintain social distance from Santa and his workers by 6 feet. There will be hand sanitizers placed across the mall and high traffic areas.
