Met fans finally have a reason to smile! They officially have the richest owner in all of baseball! Steve Cohen, the new owner of the team, took to twitter and pretty much asked the fans; What can I do to make your Mets experience better?

Some ideas were great while others were just a tad bit ridiculous. Let’s go through some of the things Mets fans requested that I think are great & just flat out dumb.
Steve, it's expensive for a family going to the game. How about new ways for fans to save money? Like food specials (value meals?) or $5 beers on certain days. Buy 1 get 1 free ice cream? You get the idea. Help people save a little cash and they'll love you.

We can all agree that going to a ball game could be pretty darn pricey. Can Uncle Steve find a way to make it more affordable for families? We’ll have to wait and see!

Just because he bought the team? – DUMB!
We all know the Wilpons were terrible owners, but Steve Cohen buying the team doesn’t mean everything is going to be rainbows and sunshine. Yes he has a lot of money, but to win you have to spend it wisely. Let’s see if he can deliver!

Asking for to much? – GREAT
These are some things many fans have been requesting for a while. We DO want to hear from our favorite players of local sports radio stations. We DO want more family experiences. We DO need more food and bar options. (Shake Shack isn’t that special anymore.) So many fans DO want the black jerseys back because they look amazing! And yes…WIN BABY WIN!!!
would also love to get dunkin iced coffee inside the stadium. That can be a low item on the list but please get it on there

Chik-fil-A + Dunkin Donuts – GREAT & DUMB!
So let’s be honest. Those Chik-fil-A signs are terrible. GET RID OF THEM ASAP! Now on to coffee. I love Iced Coffee just as much as the next person. But we just got the richest owner in all of baseball and you’re worried about getting coffee at the game? This is the least of my concerns when it comes to Cohen taking over the team. Go get your cup of joe before the game & move on.

Old Timers Day – BEST IDEA EVER
We love the players we watched growing up. Wheter you idolized Keith Hernandez, Cleon Jones, Mike Piazza or David Wright. Met fans would love to have a day where we can honor all of our favorite players who wore the Orange and Blue. This is by far the best requests from the weekend!
