Kanye West Says He’s Running For President

In a surprise tweet on July 4, Kanye West announced that he’s running for President in the upcoming election. Is he serious? It’s tough to say. He tweeted, “We must now realize the promise of America by trusting God, unifying our vision and building our future. I am running for president of the United States! #2020VISION

Shortly after, Elon Musk tweeted that he supports the rapper.

West had previously shown support for President Trump; Trump has yet to comment.
