Governor Phil Murphy announced today (June 29) that indoor dining will no longer resume on Thursday, July 2.

New Jersey planned to “loosen restrictions” this week, however, Murphy has decided to postpone indoor dining indefinitely.

“We have been cautious throughout every step of our restart,” Murphy said. “We’ve always said that we would not hesitate to hit pause if needed to safeguard public health. This is one of those times.”

As of today, New Jersey has received 156 new positive cases of COVID-10 results, pushing the statewide cumulative total since March 4 to 171, 272.
