John Legend’s new album is out. The singer went to Instagram to talk to fans about Bigger Love and give the story behind the album cover.
He wrote, “We’ve been working on this project for the last 18 months or so, and I got to collaborate with some amazing people. Since most of you aren’t getting physical copies of the music these days, I decided to give you the enhanced credits here on Instagram to tell you the story of the album.”
“We’ll start with the images you see.@CharlyPalmer is the brilliant artist who painted the album cover. His portrait work is gorgeous and distinctive. I’m so honored to have his work as the face of this project.”
Chrissy Teigen also went online to celebrate Bigger Love, and in typical Chrissy fashion, she let fans know which song she doesn’t like.
She wrote, “It’s out!!!!! I had to change my password to buy it and if you’ve had to do this recently for Apple ID, you know that’s love. Favorite songs: “Wild”, “U move, I Move” and “Focused”. Kids love “I Do” so I’ve had to listen to it over 4000 times. I do not love it anymore.”
To help celebrate the release of Bigger Love, John Legend will go head-to-head with Alicia Key in a Verzuz battle. That will take place tonight at 8 p.m. ET.
