Blake Shelton, Todd Tilghman Rock John Mellencamp Classic On ‘The Voice’
Blake Shelton joined The Voice finalist Todd Tilghman for a collaboration of John Mellencamp’s “Authority Song.”
Shelton and the Mississippi pastor were joined by a full band but performed remotely as they kept Mellencamp’s guitar within the song but giving it a sound that was uniquely their own with the vocals.
Shelton was later joined by girlfriend, Gwen Stefani, as they debuted their song, “Nobody But You.”
Lady Antebellum also appeared on The Voice season finale, performing their song, “Champagne Nights.”
Todd Tilghman is The Voice’s season 18 winner.
