The New Jersey State PBA has shared an alert in regards to the week one status of officers in the state surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic.
While 6 officers have tested positive for the coronavirus, 20 officers are now under self-quarantine and 50 are being monitored.
“Use every precaution possible. In the coming days these numbers are expected to grow,” NJ State PBA shared to Twitter. “We will work through this together.”
The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and Prevention has shared additional information on what law enforcement personnel need to know about the coronavirus disease.
