‘Girl Scout Cookie Championship’ to Premiere on Food Network
It’s officially Girl Scout cookie season and the Food Network is celebrating in a very big way. The television channel is set to premiere the ‘Girl Scout Cookie Championship‘ tonight (February 3).
According to the Food Network, viewers will experience “four of the sweetest weeks in the new year.” Current Girl Scouts will make appearances on the show to represent their troops while the cookies will be featured in array of challenges throughout the highly-anticipated competition.
Actress Alyson Hannigan will host the show as well as oversee the contests. In addition, Nacho Aguirre, Katie Lee and Carla Hall are set to judge the bakers competing in the ‘Girl Scout Cookie Championship.’
There’s twelve cookie options for the 2020 season including the signature Girl Scout Thin Mints, Samoas, and Tagalongs, along with the newly added Toffe-tastic, S’mores, among others.
The Food Network website revealed that the baker who wins the ultimate Girl Scout prize in the end will receive “an outdoor adventure trip of a lifetime, plus a year’s supply of Girl Scout Cookies.”
