Joel And Maryann In The Morning

Weekdays 6am - 10am

As discussed on Joel and Maryann in the Morning…

Many of us are much busier with the grill than the game.  In fact, a new survey says 56% of all Americans cite the food as the main reason for going to a Big Game party.

In a poll of 2,000 Americans, food topped the next-most important reason, which is being social: 54%.

Fewer than half of respondents, 49%, say watching the game is the most important reason to attend a Big Game party.

Other reasons? Forty-five percent say to see family, and 38% to see the commercials.

The survey by Farm Rich, shows that snacks are the most important thing to have at the party, followed by booze at 35%, and non-alcoholic drinks, 32%.

Considering all that eating and drinking, it’s not hard to believe that thirty-two percent say they’ve taken a sick day after the Big Game.
